Silver Surfer is an action-adventure shoot 'em up game developed by Software Creations and published by Arcadia Systems. The game was released in November of 1990 for the Nintendo Entertainment System.
Plot[]
The Silver Surfer fights through the galaxy against villains such as Reptyl, Mephisto, Possessor, Firelord and Kylor. Galactus eventually sends the Surfer into the Magik Domain to collect a Cosmic Device from Mister Sinister. The Surfer defeats Sinister and tells Galactus that no one must have access to the Cosmic Device and hides it for safe keeping so it may not fall into the wrong hands.
Gameplay[]
The player is able to shoot silver pellets out of the Surfer's hands to destroy enemies and their projectiles. Players collect silver spheres that shoot additional pellets alongside the Surfer. The player can collect two different power-ups: collecting squares with the an F can make shots stronger and squares with a B will stock screen-clearing bombs used by pressing Select.
